Visit Ojin-tenno-ryo Kofun,
Japan's largest tumulus
Ojin-tenno-ryo Kofun
It is a massive keyhole-shaped tumulus that ranks No.1 in Japan in terms of volume and No. 2 in terms of length of burial mound, right behind the Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun. This is the center of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group that was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2019.
In addition, gilt-bronze saddle fittings (designated as national treasure) were excavated from a nearby Baicho, and they are now stored in Konda Hachimangu Shrine.

Konda Hachimangu Shrine
Konda Hachimangu Shrine is a hachimangu where Sumiyoshi Okami is enshrined and whose enshrined deities are Emperor Ojin, Emperor Chuai and Empress Jingu.
It has been worshipped by the locals from around Kawachi area not only because it grants the wishes of worshipers for safe childbirth and protection against misfortune, but also because Emperor Ojin is the deity of commerce and industry and the parent deity of learning. In 1196, Minamoto no Yorimoto repaired the main shrine building and other parts of the shrine. The mikoshi made of lacquered wood and gilt-bronze fittings that was donated at that time has been designated as a national treasure.
The autumn festival is held at this shrine every September 15th, and the and the "Owatari," where the portable shrines are carried up to the bank of Ojin-tenno-ryo Kofun, continues to this day.

From grape cultivation to wine making, this winery takes pride in its commitment to quality. Here, grapes are grown organically without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and homemade compost is used to ensure that the soil is not compromised. They were hailed at the National Environmental Conservation-Oriented Agricultural Management Contest and was awarded the Encouragement Award. This winery holds many idea events that expand the circle of wine connoisseurs, such as tours of plants and vineyards, making of personalized wine, and creation of original labels.

A roadside station where fresh vegetables and fruits are sold. Agricultural products and seasonal products carefully raised by local farmers are available at affordable prices, so this place is bustling both on weekdays and on holidays. From July to September, the store is filled with grapes, the local specialty. Please make sure to purchase it as a souvenir of Habikino.
